Trojans shut out by Holmen
The New Prague Trojan football team lost its season opener 33-0 to an impressive team from Holmen, WI, Thursday, Aug. 29.
The Trojans had trouble moving the ball in their new offense early, and things didn't improve when their leading rusher, Nathan Preston, went down with an injury late in the first quarter. Holmen led 20-0 at halftime.
The Trojans begin their final Missota Conference campaign Friday, Sept. 6, when they host Holy Angels. game time is 7 p.m. The Stars, like the Trojans, were shut out in their season opener 40-0 to Class AAAAAA Edina.
