Two arrested in armed home robbery

A man and a woman have been arrested after they allegedly entered and robbed a Montgomery residence with a handgun.

Rebecca Lynn Danner, 21, and Cody Justus Hall, 18, both of Montgomery were arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 22 and face charges of first degree aggravated robbery and first degree burglary/possessing a dangerous weapon.

According to Le Sueur County Sheriff Brett Mason, at approximately 3:42 a.m. on November 22,  Le Sueur County Deputies and Montgomery Police Officers responded to the mobile home park on 714 Mill Avenue for a report of an armed home invasion/robbery.

Mason states the initial investigation revealed three males made forced entry into a mobile home on Lot 41, with one carrying a gun.

“A handgun was brandished to the lone occupant and multiple items were removed from the residence,” the report stated.

Hall was arrested at the trailer, and Danner was arrested elsewhere in Montgomery later in the morning. Both are being held in the Le Sueur County Jail, awaiting charges. Due to the investigation, Mason declined to answer where Danner was at the time of the incident, where she was arrested or who was believed to carry the handgun.

Mason said investigators continue to search for two other suspects: Gerald Bernard Baker, 18, of Montgomery, and Sergio Trey Torres, 24, whose last known address was St. Paul.

Mason emphasizes the incident is still under investigation.

“This is believed to be a targeted incident as the suspects are known by the victim. There is believed to be no threat to the public,” he stated.
