The two persons found dead inside of the Faribault Chamber of Commerce have been identified as Richard Larson 61, and Barbara Larson, 59, both of Faribault.

According to a press release from the Faribault  Police Department, the initial investigation indicates that Richard Larson shot and killed Barbara Larson before killing himself.

Barbara was employed at the Faribault Area Chamber of Commerce. Richard Larson retired from the Faribault Police Department in 2008. The two were divorced in 2014.

The report also stated that officers were aware of a harassment restraining order served on Richard earlier this week.
