Two injured in crash between tractor and motorcycles

Two people were injured Tuesday afternoon in a crash that involved a tractor and two motorcycles on Highway 13, northeast of New Prague.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the tractor was northbound on Highway 13, just north of St. Patrick, when it lost a wheel. The driver's full name was not available The wheel hit a motorcycle driven by Sandra Kaleva of Republic, MI, who was southbound with three other motorcyclists. The tractor spun out of control and then hit another motorcycle, driven by Douglas Kaleva, also of Republic.
Both motorcycle drivers were taken by ambulance to Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague. A spokesperson said Douglas Kaleva was treated and released and Sandra was taken by air ambulance to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, where she was listed in serious condition Wednesday morning.
Assisting at the scene were the Scott County Sheriff's Office and New Prague Ambulance.
