Visit demonstrations, get a free train ride

Several individuals or groups will be giving demonstrations of crafts downtown during the Dozinky Festival on Saturday.

Among the demonstrators are:

The Scott County Historical Society: Judy Hentges will have a booth displaying 100 years ago children’s toys to make. They will be located near the Alliance Building. There is no charge for this activity and children may take the toy home with them.

Deloras Haas will be demonstrating her skills with Bohemian Lace in the window at Kubes Furniture.

Wayne Keifer (representing New Prague Rotary) will be giving wood turning demonstrations on the west side of Miller’s Tap, just before you enter Artists’ Alley.

Get a free ride

The Gopher State Railroad Museum will have a railroad display near Schumacher’s New Prague Hotel. They will also be offering free steam train rides.
