William A. David, 83
William “Bill” A. David, 83, of Montgomery, died Monday, June 20, 2005 at Mala Strana Health Care Center in New Prague.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 23, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery.
Visitation was held Wednesday, June 22 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery.
William was born March 2, 1922 to Adolph and Anna (Hrachavina) David in Lexington Township. He attended country school, then married Lorretta (Mader) David in Union Hill on April 10, 1951.
In 1957, William and Lorretta moved to Montgomery. During his life, William was a farmer and also a road construction worker. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working, visiting relatives and travelling.
Surviving him are son William B. (Colleen) David of Le Center; sisters Anna Heyda of New Prague, Marie Timmerman of Hastings, NE, and Rosie Hinderscheit of Le Sueur; as well as grandsons Benjamin and Zachary David.
He was preceded in death by wife Lorretta; parents Adolph and Anna David; sisters Mayme Ambrose and Albina Shetka; and brothers Joe David and James David.
