Win streak reaches seven straight

Zac Olson scored 31 points while Tanner Ranslow and Dallas McBroom added 15 each, helping the WEM boys basketball team win their seventh straight game, a 72-42 win over Belle Pliane. The Bucs also defeated USC (66-34) and Faribault BA (73-46) last week. The Bucs, 12-3 overall, play at Maple RIver Friday, Feb. 3 and hostNRHEG Tuesday, Feb. 7 in two games which will most likely decide the Gopher Conference Championship. NRHEG leads the league with a perfect 7-0 record. WEM is a half game behind with a 7-1 mark. Maple River is 3-2 in conference play.
