LOCAL SPORTS Print this Article Email this Article Thursday, July 22, 2010 Proshek named men's golf coach at St. Thomas Former New Prague Golf Club manager Scott Proshek has been named head golf coach at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul. Proshek has been a Tommie assistant since 2006. He is a 1979 St. Thomas grad and has been head golf coach at Shakopee High School the last five years. Proshek, a 1975 New Prague graduate, was general manager at the New Prague Golf Club for 25 years, from 1980 to 2004. He works part-time at Brackett's Crossing Golf Club in Lakeville.
