Easter Egg Hunt is Sunday

Easter is on its way to Montgomery. To celebrate the religious and festive spring occasion, CornerStone State Bank, along with community businesses and sponsors, are hosting the annual community Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, March 24 at the American Legion Club.

The activities are from 1 to 3 p.m. This is a correction from the times listed in the March 21 edition.

The eggs will be rolling and kids will have plenty to do when they see more than 4,000 Easter eggs filled with candy. Organized by the staff at the bank with generous donations from more than 60 local businesses, the hunt offers something for everyone.

President Connie White Tupy said this family affair is truly a community event.

“This year more businesses contributed to the hunt, and we are very, very appreciative because it makes it more of a community event,” she said. “There are so many positive things that come out of the event.”

Like year’s past, the hunt will offer free hot dogs, lemonade, and chips. Participants will also be able to play free carnival games where everyone wins a prize, have free photos with the Easter Bunny, enter drawings for stuffed animals, prizes and Easter Baskets, and have their faces painted.

Tupy said there is something for every one of all ages at the family event.

In addition to candy, some of the eggs will be stuffed with money, coupons for pizza and donuts, and more prizes.
