Minnesota River Bulldogs shutout Fairmont 9-0

The Minnesota River Bulldogs shutout visiting Fairmont on Tuesday, Jan. 15 with a 9-0 score.

The Minnesota River team saw scoring from nine different players on its team. Coach Shea Roehrkasse said the entire team played well and supported each other throughout the game.

“I thought we played at a high level most of the game. We moved the puck very well and supported each other in all three zones,” he stated. “We had nine different guys score, which is pretty cool and doesn’t happen very often. I give our guys credit. They didn’t get selfish and moved the puck to open ice. It was a nice job by all 20 guys.”

There were no power plays by either team. Both teams each spent six minutes in the penalty box on three infractions each.
