Six finalists selected for superintendent position
The search for the next Tri-City United superintendent went from 23 applicants down to six finalists Monday night.
They were selected based on criteria established by the school board.
At the TCU school board meeting, held via video conference due to the health pandemic and shelter-in-place order, school board members met with Barb Dorn of the Minnesota School Board Association to narrow the list of candidates for first-round interviews.
"I'm really pleased with the pool of candidates," said Dorn, MSBA's director of leadership development and executive search.
The candidates are:
- Carmen Daniels-Strahan, Middle School Principal, Mankato Area Public Schools
- Lisa Edwards, Director of Continuous Improvement, Farmington Area Schools
- Doug Froke, Superintendent, Detroit Lakes School District
- David Helke, High School Principal, Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District
- Michael Neubeck, Middle School Principal, Mahtomedi Public Schools
- Lonnie Seifert, Superintendent, GFW Schools
