Wrestlers win two matches at quad meet
The TCU Wrestling Team hosted a Quad Meet on Friday with visiting schools Sibley East, St. Peter and Marshall. The TCU team faced off and beat Sibley East and St. Peter, but fell to Marshall in a close match.

In their first match of the day, the Titans took on St. Peter, with TCU wins coming at the top of the match from Tucker Skluzacek’s fall at 106 pounds. Riley Skluzacek, at 113 pounds, followed with a 7-1 decision over Ryan Moelter, giving the Titans a 9-0 lead.
It was back and forth wins for the two teams at 120, 126, and 132 pounds until Carter O’Malley started off a three-match winning streak with a 3-1 decision. Cole Franek won with a fall in 3:18, and Caleb Whipps won by forfeit giving the Titans a 30-12 lead.
At 160 pounds, Kaden Malecha lost by a pin in 39 seconds, as did Tyler Stans at 170 pounds in 1:41.
