Continuing a tradition – Scott Le Sueur Waterfowlers hold successful banquet

The organization is new, but the time-honored event was very successful.

The newly-formed Scott Le Sueur Waterfowlers continued the tradition of raising funds for education, youth programs, and conservation with a Fundraising Banquet on Thursday, Nov. 21, at the Park Ballroom in New Prague.

The local organization is made up of members from the former Scott-Le Sueur Chapter of the Minnesota Waterfowl Assocation (MWA) that disbanded earlier this year and regrouped under the new name. The goals of the new organization remain the same as they have for 40 years: Preservation, creation and restoration of wildlife habit throughout Minnesota, and educational and youth programs, including the popular Wood Duck Box Building Day.
