Rita Ann Way, 84

Rita Ann Way, 84, of Montgomery, died on August 9, 2020, in New Prague.

Funeral services and visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 21, 2020, at Most Holy Redeemer Church. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m., with a Mass to follow. Officiating will be Father Thomas Neihaus.

Rita was born in Montgomery to Thomas and Anna (Flicek) Moravec on October 11, 1935. She graduated from Montgomery-Lonsdale Schools in 1953.

She worked for the Montgomery Messenger newspaper, Le Sueur County, and CinGars Restaurant in Montgomery. She also worked for, and retired from, MVE in New Prague.

She is survived by children Craig (Deb) Way of Faribault; Cathy Bintz of Montgomery, Carleen (Al) Sevcik of Lonsdale; Cindy (Gary) Flicek of Montgomery, and Chuck (fiancé, Penny) Way of Montgomery; 12 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Arlene French; and brothers, Robert, Milo and Melvin Moravec.
