Sandra M. Wadsworth, 71 of Willmar, formerly of Burnsville, died Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Prairie Senior Cottages in Willmar.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 8, 2018 at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Spicer.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in New London.  Arrangements are with the Johnson Funeral Home in New London.  www.hafh.org

Brent W. Meyer, 54

Brent W. Meyer, age 54, of New Prague, died peacefully, surrounded by his family on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at his home.  Brent was born on August 15, 1964 at Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague to Gerald J. and Carman L. (Elder) Meyer.  He grew up in Belle Plaine, attended Our Lady of the Prairie Catholic School and graduated from Belle Plaine High School and Mankato State University.  Brent married Jane M.

Elsie M. Lukes, 91

Elsie M. Lukes, age 91, of New Prague, died peacefully surrounded by her family at Mala Strana Rehabilitation Center on Tuesday, October 2, 2018.  Elsie was born on April 3, 1927 in Lexington Township, Le Sueur County to Albert and Emma (Dvoracek) Holey.  She was raised in the Le Center area and attended a country school in Lexington Township.  She married Leonard R. Lukes on November 21, 1950 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in North Mankato.

David Leonard Skluzacek, 61

David Leonard Skluzacek, 61, of Montgomery, died unexpectedly on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018 at his home. Visitation will be on Wednesday, Oct. 3 from 10 a.m. to noon with a prayer service to follow all at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

Michael P. McLoone, age 74 of Mankato and originally from Waseca, died unexpectedly but peacefully at home on Thursday morning, September 20, 2018. Mike’s love and generosity for family and friends will forever be cherished.

Paul H. Wermerskirchen, of Jordan, passed away peacefully at home on September 22, 2018, at the age of 90.  A visitation will be held on Friday, September 28, 2018, from 3-7 p.m., at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home in Jordan.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018, at 12:30 p.m., with visitation one hour prior at St.

James Thomas Halloran, 83

James Thomas Halloran, age 83 of St. Thomas, passed away on September 18, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30a.m. on Monday, September 24 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in St. Thomas.  Fr. Roger Hessian will officiate.  Visitation will be on Sunday from 3-7p.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine and continue at the funeral home on Monday morning from 9-10a.m.  Interment will be in St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery.

Adele A. (Soukup) Goblirsch, 94

Adele A. (Soukup) Goblirsch, age 94, of Sleepy Eye passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Sleepy Eye Medical Center after a brief illness.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 to 7 pm and will continue on Friday from 7:30 until 10 am at the Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye. There will be a parish prayer service Thursday at 4pm at the funeral home.

Gregory August Stanke, 48

Gregory August Stanke, loving husband, treasured father and Papa, son, brother and friend, passed away September 11, 2018 in West Fargo, North Dakota.
He was born September 10th, 1970 in New Prague, Minnesota to Duane and Betty (Novotny) Stanke.  He grew up in New Prague, Minnesota with his siblings Kari (Shabir) Awan, Robert (Elena) Stanke, Scott (Deb) Stanke.

Rosemary “Rosie” Pexa, 84

Rosemary “Rosie” Pexa, age 84, of New Prague, died peacefully, surrounded by her family on Thursday, September 13, 2018, at Mala Strana Rehabilitation Center.  Rosie was born on July 16, 1934, in Northfield to Joseph & Helen (Floren) Winter.  She attended St. Dominic Catholic School and graduated from Northfield High School.  Following high school, she was employed by Northwest Airlines and proudly worked for about a year in Washington, D.C.  After returning to Minnesota, she met and married the love of her life, George F.
