Donald F. “Donnie” Cervenka, 67

Donald F. “Donnie” Cervenka, age 67, of Webster, died suddenly after a brief illness on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Northfield Hospital.  Donnie was born on May 9, 1951 in New Prague to Myles F. and Helen J. (Blaha) Cervenka.  He graduated from New Prague High School and from Faribault Vo-Tech School in small engine mechanics.  Donnie married Janice H. Ryan on May 22, 1976 at St. Patrick of Cedar Lake Catholic Church and the couple made their home in Webster, where they raised their son.  He worked at the Le Sueur Foundry until retiring in December of 2017.  Donnie was an avid collector of International and Farmall toy tractors.  His  greatest joy in life came in spending time with his grandson, Graham.

 Donnie is survived by his loving wife, Janice of Webster; son, Michael “Donnie” (Sarah) Cervenka of Lonsdale; grandson, Graham; sister, Carol Stocker of Prior Lake.  He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bernie Cervenka; brother-in-law, John Stocker.

 Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, March 11, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Veseli with Father John Lapensky officiating.  Visitation will take place Sunday from 4-8 PM and Monday morning from 7:30 – 9:30 at Bruzek Funeral Home.  Lunch will follow Mass at the Lonsdale Legion Club. bruzekfuneralhome.com
