Ginette F. Roger, 92

Ginette F. Roger, 92, of New Prague, died peacefully at home with family members around her on Monday, Dec. 31, 2018. 

She was born March 1, 1926, in Morchain, France, to Francis Mary and Cecile Lecot. She married Paul Roger in France on April 2, 1949, and they moved to the United States in 1950. They lived in France, Massachusetts, California and Minnesota. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and cooking. She was a fun, feisty, friendly person who enjoyed surrounding herself with family and friends. 

Survivors include daughters Jeannie (Roger) Shambour of Webster and Claudette (Dennis) Taylor of Ventura, CA; six grandchildren, Jerret Gilden, Amanda (Andrew) Bolton, Bradley Shambour, Anthony (Brianna) Shambour, Lindsay (Andrew) Braga and Jeffrey Shambour; nine great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters Jeannine Bonnaz of California, Claude (Judy) Mary of Colorado and Andre (Joelle) Mary of California. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Paul Roger, in 2011, and youngest brother Francis Mary in 2014. 

Ginette was cremated by the Neputune Society. A private family vigil will be held this spring or summer. Interment will be at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Veseli.
