After graduating from New Prague High school and working in Minneapolis, Minnesota, she married her high school sweetheart, Myron (Mike) Loula, on August 9th, 1958 at Saint Wenceslaus Catholic Church in New Prague, Minnesota.  Mary was a dedicated mother and grandmother first and foremost. She made friends everywhere she went.  Mary began her career as a legal secretary in New Prague, which she later continued in Minneapolis. After raising her children, Mary went back to work as a business analyst for an insurance company where she held a variety of positions. She also taught religious education classes to Catholic elementary students in several parishes. After retiring, she took classes in flower arranging and worked part time at a florist shop, which she enjoyed immensely.

Mary loved cooking for her family, traveling, gardening and all flowers. She is survived by her husband, sisters Carol Seifert and Liz Kuebelbeck, and brothers Joe and James Picha. She is also survived by her six children and their spouses: Kathy (Dennis Burnell) Loula, Carol (Mitch) Greening, Mary (Ben) Oosterbaan, Becky (John) Thomas, Mark (Marlene) Loula and Mike Loula, as well as seven grandchildren: Zach Greening; Katherine Oosterbaan; Jay and William Thomas; and Michael, Matt and Marko Loula, whom she loved and touched deeply.
