New Prague High School celebrates Homecoming
New Prague High School’s Homecoming Week is underway, with the bulk of activities scheduled for Friday, Sept. 28.
Festivities began on Sunday, Sept. 23, with the annual Powder Puff Football game. The flag football game between teams of senior and junior girls was won by the senior class, 35-0.
Each day of the week was dedicated to different dressup theme days. Students were to take part in floatbuilding for the parade on Wednesday, Sept. 26, at the bus garage.
On Friday, a pep fest will be held in the school gym beginning at 11:10 a.m. As part of the pep fest, the Homecoming Court will be introduced and coronation of the Homecoming King and Queen will take place.
Candidates were announced last last week. Queen candidates are Aidan McLoone, Laura DeGross, Anna Holden, Kaitlyn Blair, Callie Peterson, Morgan Pint, Molly Giesen and Kate Wagner. King candidates are Mason DeGross, Bryce Simon, Travis Frerk, Collin Dorzinski, Grant Yackly, Blake Woodson, Andrew Piilola and Hartman Sadusky.
