Despite their best efforts, the New Prague High School girls’ ice hockey team has found offense in short supply. With tough competition on the horizon, scoring more goals will keep the team in a better position.

The Trojans have scored 10 goals in their last seven games. In the past week, the three goals in three games haven’t been enough against solid competition.

Minneapolis tied the game, 1-1, at the 11:04 mark and added the three even-strength goals in the second period.

NPHS goalie Ellie Schmidt made 36 saves in the contest and the Trojans’ penalty-killing unit was successful on three opportunities.
