Bernita Erna Spitzack, 85

Bernita Erna Spitzack, age 85, of Morristown, died Friday, November 9, 2018 at District One Hospital, Faribault.
Memorial services will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Morristown at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, November 15, 2018 with the Reverend Travis Loeslie, officiating. Interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Morristown.
Visitation will be at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 3 to 7 p.m. and also for one hour prior to the services on Thursday.
Bernita E. Spitzack, daughter of Frank and Lydia (Schwichtenberg) Meschke was born on June 22, 1933 in Faribault. She graduated from Morristown High School. Bernita and Harold were joined in marriage on April 21, 1956 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Morristown. She was employed by Ochs Department Store and Genova. She was a faithful mother and wife. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards, gardening, and taking annual trips up to Lake Winnie with the whole family.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Spitzack; five children, Sandy (and Terry) Elhardt of Ham Lake, Pat (and Dale) Schwartz of Waterville, Ken Spitzack (and special friend, Jenny Vangilder) of Morristown, Ron Spitzack of Morristown, Connie Spitzack (and Mark Youngquist) of Coralville, IA; ten grandchildren, Katie (and Keith) Sherman, Chris Elhardt (and special friend, Amelia Koenig), Kelli Elhardt (and special friend, Zach Mosbek), Nicholas (and Samantha) Schwartz, Corey (and Samantha) Schwartz, Alex Schwartz, Shanda Spitzack (and special friend, Randy Guertin), Justin (and Catherine) Olson, Nathanael Youngquist and Lydia Youngquist; and 9 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her three siblings, Rachel Risvold, Ruth Meschke and Roger Meschke.
