Gordon Schwartz, 93

Gordon Schwartz, age 93 died on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Our Circle of Friends in Faribault.
Born on December 19, 1925 in Rice County, Minnesota, he was the son of Albert and Edna (Velzke) Schwartz. He attended school in rural Le Sueur County. Gordon married Bernice Tolzmann on September 14, 1950. He farmed in Le Sueur County for many years. He also raised game birds, mink, and rabbits. Gordon enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed traveling, especially the trip to Europe that he took with his wife, Bernice. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Waterville.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice; four children, Diane Olsen of Faribault, Beth Ann (Kelly) Schwartz Hines, Bryant (significant other, Corene Rasmussen) Schwartz of Waterville, and Brenda (Bruce) Ebeling of Waseca; five grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, Norma Schwartz of Owatonna and Darlene Schwartz of Waterville; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings, Clarence, Norman and Delores.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 2, 2019 from 4-7 p.m. at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waterville and continue on Tuesday, one hour before services at the church.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waterville. Burial will follow at Concordia Cemetery in Rice County.
