Cody S. Spiess, age 34 of Janesville, was called to heaven with family by his side on March 27, 2020 in St. Peter; over a year after being diagnosed with Creutzfeldt–Jakob Disease.
Grateful for having shared in his life are his wife, Ingrid; sons: Jari and Otto; parents: Michael and Amber; sister Cassidy (Don Tontoplaphol); in-laws Marlis and Barry Olson; sisters-in-law Nicole Bowman and Annaka (Austin) Athman - and daughter Auri; brothers-in-law: Kahler Olson and Berlyn Olson.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Harold & Beverly Engesser and Stephen & Shirley Spiess; and maternal great grandmother Grace Engesser.
A special thank you to the staff and volunteers at Mayo Clinic Health Hospice for their compassionate care. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
