Shirley Jean Lebo, age 97, of Chaska, MN, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 7, 2024.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour before at Hope Lutheran Church located at 201 Hope Ave. Jordan, MN. The inurnment will be at Spirit Hill Cemetery in Jordan.
Shirley was born April 23, 1926, in Brainerd, a daughter of the late Charles and Maude (Graftaas) Peabody. Shirley wants to be remembered with a smile on her face and enjoyed being with others; reading, playing cards, singing in her church choir, and walking faster than those she was with. Mostly though, she enjoyed her time with family.
Shirley is survived by her children, Mike (Chris) Jackson of Cedar Falls, IA, Tom Jackson of Prior Lake, MN, Mark Jackson of New Prague, MN, and Sarah (Steve) Jabs, of Jordan, MN; 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Duane Jackson, Vern Holmstrom and Tom Lebo; sisters Ruth Grove, Marilyn Goeddertz, and brother Richard Peabody.
Funeral arrangements are with the Bertas Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Chaska, MN.
