Brian Gary Pittmann, 52

Brian Gary Pittmann, age 52 of Waterville, died on Sunday, June 21, 2020 in South Dakota.

Born on March 18, 1968 in Mankato, he was the son of Gary and Sandy (McColley) Pittmann. He attended Waterville-Elysian High School where he enjoyed playing sports and graduated in 1986. He then went to work at Brown Printing Co. in Waseca where he worked for 28 years. He married Kristie Wolff in 1997 and they were later divorced. Brian’s pride and joy were his two daughters, Paige and Kylie. Throughout their lives he never missed an event, whether it was a game, long weekend tournaments, or even prom. He was always there cheering and yelling as loud as he could. He enjoyed going on hikes and bike rides with them. There wasn’t a hiking path in the area where they hadn’t yet explored. In addition to supporting his daughters, he was also a good uncle and friend. Brian’s other passions included the game of basketball, where he met his goal of playing competitively until he was 50 years old. He also loved to ride his motorcycle and its possible he may have made a record of the most miles put on a Harley.

Brian is survived by his children Paige and Kylie Pittmann of Elysian; sisters, Michelle (Mark) Barnett of Kilkenny and Kim (Cardell) Johnson of Rockford; grandmother, Leona Pittmann of Waterville; and several uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and best friend, Karl Boese.

Visitation will be held at the Waterville Chapel of Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services on Thursday, July 2, 2020 from 4-7 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 3, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. at Calvary Cemetery in Waterville. dennisfuneralhomes.com
