Hill, Emergency Management selected Grand Marshals

2024 was once again a rough year for the City of Waterville due to the record-breaking flooding with ravaged the community.
But thanks to the efforts of many people, the community was kept safe and the city continued to operate.
Among those who had their hands in the stabilization of the city were Waterville city employees, city council, firefighters, police officers, and many, many volunteers.
In appreciation for their work, the Waterville Bullhead Days Committee has bestowed the honor of 2025 Bullhead Days Grand Marshall to Waterville City Administrator Teresa Hill and all of the emergency management people involved during the flooding and many weeks after.
The Bullhead Days Committee is very thankful for their efforts, especially that of Hill, who spent countless hours ensuring the community stayed safe, working with hundreds of volunteers and officials, and keeping her eyes on more than just running the city during this time of need.
“I was very honored to be honest,” Hill said after she was told she was the Bullhead Days Committee’s selection for Grand Marshal. “I’m kind of the person who works behind the scenes - I never pictured myself as being recognized for being Grand Marshal.”
