‘Candyland’ is theme of high school Sno-Ball

The Tri-City High School Titans are gearing up for its annual Sno-Ball week January 27 to 31, and students are taking the reins on a new activity.

Teacher and Sno-Ball advisor Carey Lang said this year’s Sno-Ball theme is “Candyland,” and that high school staff is collecting nominees for royalty and actively planning for all aspects of the winter week.

Candidates will be announced on Monday, Jan. 27 during Titan Time from 12:33 to 1:03.

To make the week more fun for students, the school is also planning difference activities throughout the week, including dress up days.

“Our dress up days will be Country Day, Pajama Day, Construction Day, Twinning Day, and Titan Pride Day,” Langer said. “We will also be having our annual medallion hunt throughout the week and bringing it all together on Friday when we crown our royalty during the day on Friday, January 31.”

The social studies teacher added that the school will have its first-ever "Fun Night” with a lock-in style evening from 6 to 9 p.m. with several games and events like a karaoke room, movie room, gaming room, and live DJ room.
