Caroline (Carolyn) Dvorak, 90
Caroline (Carolyn) Dvorak, 90, of Montgomery, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018, at her home in Montgomery. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, April 21, at 10:30 a.m. at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 20, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery.
Caroline was born on July 31, 1927, to William and Mary (Kalla) Dietz on the home farm in rural Montgomery. Caroline was a graduate of Montgomery High School and of the Minnesota School of Business.
Caroline was united in marriage to William Dvorak at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery in 1946. She worked as a bookkeeper for area Catholic schools and at Green Giant in Montgomery in the scale house and as a bookkeeper.
Caroline enjoyed playing Bridge, spending time with her children and grandchildren, listening to music and dancing, cooking, and her hobby farm. She was very proud of her Czech heritage.
Caroline was also a member of the Holy Redeemer Catholic School Board for many years.
Caroline is survived by her son, Kurt William (Joy Svoboda) Dvorak of Montgomery; grandchildren, Kyle Dvorak, Genevieve Dvorak, Mike Dvorak, Andy Dvorak, Kelli Dvorak, Anna Ryden, Marie Ryden, and Nicole Ryden; great-grandson, Nathan Kielty; son-in-law, John Ryden of Minneapolis; daughter-in-law, Dianna Dvorak of Le Center; many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Caroline is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Dvorak; daughter, Faye Ryden; son, Roger Dvorak; sister, Evelyn Burns; brothers, Leander Dietz, Raymond Dietz, and Daniel Dietz.
