Community help needed for Czech Dancer

The community Czech Dancer Topiary needs your help to come to fruition.

Meghan Petricka, the winner of Discovery+ show “Clipped” is ready to start Montgomery’s Czech Dancer Topiary to honor her community and her Kolacky Queen experience.

Petricka, who now resides in Eden Prairie, partnered with the Arts and Heritage Center of Montgomery, a local non-profit, to help collect monetary and material donations to support the project. She and her welding-wiz of a husband, Christopher, plan to donate their time and talents.

The total needed to complete the project is $4,000 less any donated materials. Tax exempt monetary donations are also needed to allow Petricka to fill in any needed materials. Drop off or mail donations to the Arts and Heritage Center, PO Box 94, Montgomery, MN 56069. If enough money is raised, a male dancing partner will be built. Donations over $100 will be recognized when the topiary is displayed.

Petricka will build the topiary March 21 and 22 at the Revival on Main. The big reveal will be held March 24 during the Montgomery Farmer’s Market.
