Dorothy was born January 4, 1942, in Montgomery to Adolph and Annie Dietz (Studnicka). She was united in marriage to Marvin Denzer, Sr. on November 5, 1960, at St. John Lutheran Church in Montgomery.

Upon graduation from Montgomery High School in June 1960, Dorothy moved to St. Cloud. In 1962, Dorothy returned to Montgomery and went to work at Munsingwear until the facility closed. She was then employed at Franchise Mailing for a time.

She started work as a “seasonal” employee in 1982 for Seneca (Green Giant), became a full time employee a few years later and worked there until her retirement in August 2016.

Dorothy was an avid seamstress, sewer and loved spending time with family. She was especially proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dorothy loved betting on football games with the grandchildren. She always favored Aaron Rogers and the Green Bay Packers over all other teams, much to the chagrin of the grandchildren. Dort loved to talk on the phone with friends, family and especially, her grandchildren. She had time for anyone who called and would talk for hours. Even wrong numbers got respectful conversation.

Dorothy is survived by four children, Deborah (Greg) Kasper of Belle Plaine; Robert (Lynn) Denzer of Montgomery; Sue (Dave) Novak of Montgomery; and Marvin, Jr. (Shelly) of Waconia; brother, Donald (Darlene) Dietz of Montgomery; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews.
