The TCU boys basketball team extended their home winning streak to three straight after winning both games in the TCU tournament Dec. 29 and 30.

The Titans defeated WEM, 68-49, Thursday and came back the following day to defeat JWP, 55-40.

The boys did not come out of the gate swinging, as they had somewhat of a slow start. against WEM. Going into halftime leading by only 1 point, the game continued to be an absolute battle until about halfway through the second half.

The Titans eventually wore the Buccaneers down with their size, defense, and hustle, and ended up pulling away from W-E-M by around 20 points by the end of the game.

TCU shot the basketball at a pretty decent clip, going 48.1% (26/54) from the floor, and 84.6% (11/13) from the free throw line. The defense the Titans played late in the game on Thursday, and during Friday’s game is definitely going to be something to build on.

Luke Holicky led the Titans with 18 points on 7/13 shooting from the field, while going 2/2 at the line. Hank Holicky contributed 13 points, while also chipping in 11 rebounds to record another double double.
