Milo Studnicka, 83

Milo Studnicka Sr., age 83, of Montgomery, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at The Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine. Visitation was held on Monday, March 11 from 3 p.m.-6 p.m. at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, March 12 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Fr. Tom Niehaus officiating. Interment will be held in the Bohemian National Cemetery in Montgomery.

Milo was born on August 25, 1940, to Frank and Rose (Horesh) Studnicka Sr. He worked as a farmer all his life. Besides farming he worked at the creamery, Westerman Lumber, and Green Giant/Seneca (October 19, 1968 - May 31, 2002) all in Montgomery, and recycling. He was united to marriage to Evangeline Havlicek on November 30, 1963 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Veseli. He enjoyed hunting, trapping, pets, wildlife, and loved his grandchildren.
Milo is survived by his children, Cindy (Rick) Srnec of Montgomery, and Milo (Roxanne) Studnicka Jr., of Montgomery; grandchildren, Desiree (Matt) Reak, Brad Studnicka, and Cody Studnicka; great-grandchildren, Kendyl, Kylee, Maci, and Daxton Reak; brother-in-law, Dennis (Lynn) Havlicek; nieces and nephews, and in-laws.
Milo is preceded in death by his wife, Evangeline Evelyn Studnicka; his parents; brothers, Frank Studnicka, Richard Studnicka, and Arnie Studnicka; ½ brothers, Alvin Mucha and Emil Mucha.
