New owners revamp auto wash facility

Monty Auto Wash, 626 4th St SW, received a full revamp from its new owners, Grant and Sierra Kaisershot.
The facility originally opened almost 20 years ago to the day as Montgomery Car Wash under the owners of Ron Pexa and Dick Franek with business offices located in the R&R Metalworks building.
The Kaisershots bought the facility earlier this year and shut it down for a period of time to make upgrades to it — some upgrades they did themselves and some through contractors.
Pavement was replaced around the facility, as well as extended further west on the entrance side of the wash bays. Grant says, “That should hopefully help with people trying to enter the wash bays that found it a little tight before.”
New awnings, sign graphics and LED lighting were installed all the way around. Grant said that he also had a light pole installed at the entrance driveway to help brighten up the area a little more where people come in.
