Pie time: MHRS exceeds AHA fundraiser goal

Most Holy Redeemer School (MHRS) exceeded their $1,500 fundraising goal for the Kids Heart Challenge and had their best year so far. The students raised $1,840.83 for the American Heart Association. The largest amount previously raised was $1,583 in 2017.

Teacher Michelle Wood accepted a pie to her face (reluctantly) in front of the whole school, proving that you can say your words and eat them too! She told students at the beginning of the fundraiser that, if they made the school’s goal, the student who raises the most money would have the honor of smashing her face with a pie.
