Tri-Legion beats Cleveland 14-13

The Tri-Legion Baseball Team (Montgomery, Le Center, Lonsdale) battled backand- forth against Cleveland on Monday night toward a 14-13 victory.

Tri-Legion got off to a running start in the bottom of the first inning when athletes scored three runs to Cleveland’s zero. With Carter O’Malley on the mound for the team, the teams had a scoreless second inning and each with single runs in the third.

Cleveland answered in fourth inning with two runs and held Tri-Legion runless. The visiting team had a massive fifth inning when they took the lead with five runs, putting the score at 8-4 in their favor.

The Tri-Legion team was not able to score any runs in the bottom of the fifth, but they were able to keep Cleveland from scoring in the sixth. When they were up to bat, the players...
