Highway 93 between Highway 169 and Henderson closed due to flooding over weekend

Highway 93 between Highway 169 and Henderson opens after 5 p.m today Thursday,, April 2, 2020.

 

Crews monitoring Highway 19 closely.

Motorists are advised that Highway 93 from Highway 169 to Henderson remains closed due to flooding on the Minnesota River.  The Minnesota Department of Transportation closed Highway 93 early Sunday morning. 

MnDOT and area law enforcement are closely monitoring Highway 19 between Highway 169 and Henderson as current river forecasts indicate the potential closure later this week.

Highways that remain closed: Highway 93 south of Henderson (closed 6 a.m. March 29)

When a road is closed it is illegal to travel in that area. Motorists can be fined up to $1,000 and/or 90 days in jail. In addition, if travelers need to be rescued from a closed road, other expenses and penalties will apply.
