Joseph Schiprett, Jr, 50
Joseph Schiprett, Jr, 50, of Lonsdale, passed away on June 21, 2018. He grew up in Lonsdale, attended Montgomery-Lonsdale High School and continued his education at Dakota County Technical College for Diesel Mechanics. He was employed by Scott County as a Mechanic and later joined the Highway Department. He worked there until his health forced him to retire.
He enjoyed his motorcycle, pontoon, four-wheeler, golf cart, spending time on the farm and his pick-up truck. He also enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews and special friends, Adam and Aaron Simon. He faced chronic illness with courage and a positive attitude. Throughout his several illnesses he faced many losses, despite this, he never gave up. He lived life to the fullest with great strength and determination.
He is survived by his father Joseph T. Schiprett of Lonsdale, sisters: Pat (Dean Rezac) of Lonsdale, Sandy (Scott Carlson) of Kalispell, MT, Lynda (Rick Jirak) of Webster and JoAnn Schiprett of Lonsdale; nieces: Tiffany and Amanda Schiprett and Nicole Carlson, nephews: Matt Anderson, Adam and Mark Jirak and Dan Carlson, great niece Armani and great nephews Jaevinand Aiden – who was also his M&M buddy. Proceeded in death by his mother Helen Schiprett, brother Kenny Schiprett and sister Jean Thompson. Rest in peace buddy, your fight is over!
Memorial Service 7pm Monday, June 25 at White Funeral Home in Lonsdale. Gathering of family and friends starting at 4pm.
