Bruce A. Barta, 71

Bruce A. Barta, 71, passed away peacefully in San Antonio, TX on Friday, April 14, 2023 after a short battle with leukemia. Bruce was born on December 1, 1951 in Northfield, MN to Elmer and Ruth (O’Leary) Barta. He attended St. Wenceslaus Catholic School and New Prague High School. He graduated from Mankato State University with a degree in Music and Business.

Bruce had a passion for music and a gift of speaking! He played in several bands throughout his high school and college years. After college Bruce had a career as a Sales Rep for Medical Equipment and Drug Supply Companies educating nurses on his products. Bruce lectured at many national conventions throughout the United States, mostly without notes!

Bruce was pre-deceased by his parents and brother, Dennis Barta.

Bruce is survived by his sons: Adam of Roseville, MN, Peter of Denver, CO. Siblings: Kathleen (Wayne) Hines, Excelsior, MN, Tim (Kathy), Los Angeles, CA, Tom (Lu), Honolulu, HI, Steve (Heather), Colorado Springs, CO.
