Judith Mae (Eddans) Williams, 74
Judith Mae Williams (Eddans) died peacefully on May 29th, at Belgrade Nursing Home in Belgrade, MN. She was born in Minneapolis, MN on October 4, 1944 to Charles and Jean Eddans. She was raised on the shores of Lake Minnewashta in Excelsior, MN. Judy married Carl Williams on October 7, 1967. Together they made their home in Webster, MN, where they raised their two children. Judy worked at Sears as a secretary, where she met Carl. She also filled various roles at New Prague Schools including paraprofessional, secretary, librarian, and finally worked in the copy shop. At various times during their married years, Judy was co-owner with entrepreneurial husband, Carl, of several businesses including a grocery store, a hardware store, and a farm. Judy had a great sense of humor and a zest for life. She enjoyed playing bunco, going bowling, and traveling with her friends. She also was involved with the church ladies group and quilting group. Most of all Judy enjoyed spending time with family.
Judy is survived by daughter, Tammie (Dan), and son, Carl (Michelle), and grandchildren, Carl (Heidi), Althea, David, and Isaiah, and sister, Evelyn Eddans. She was preceded in death by husband, Carl; sisters, Lea and Ruth; parents, Charles and Jean.
Funeral services will occur Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Solor Lutheran Church in Webster, MN with Pastor John Dalen of Belgrade Lutheran Church officiating. Visitation will take place Friday, June 7 from 4-8 PM and Saturday morning from 9:00 – 10:30 at Bruzek Funeral Home in New Prague. Burial will occur at Solor Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to Grace Lutheran Church in Belgrade, MN. bruzekfuneralhome.com
