Matthew James Soller, 33

Matthew James Soller, age 33, of rural New Prague, died suddenly Sunday morning, March 3, 2024 as a result of heart failure. Visitation will be at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine on Sunday, March 10, starting at 1:00 p.m. and concluding at 5:00 p.m. with a short tribute service.
Matthew was born on December 7, 1990, in New Prague, MN, to James & Tina (Johnson) Soller. He grew up in the Belle Plaine area and graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 2009. He later worked at Cargill in Savage, MN, before a long career with the city of Bloomington as a Traffic Maintenance Engineer. He also owned a semi-truck and did some custom hauling and farming. He married Brianna Haugen on August 31, 2019 in Belle Plaine, MN. He enjoyed his time on the farm with his wife and dog Remi.
He is survived by his wife Brianna; parents, Jim and Tina Soller of Belle Plaine; sister, Courtney (Dylan) Ludovissie of Carver, MN; niece and nephews; Ellie, Weston and Clayton Ludovissie; grandparents, Ray and Linda Soller of Belle Plaine and Robert and Darlene Ruehling of Belle Plaine, MN; parents-in-law, Barb (Gary) Vandehey of Lake of the Woods, MN, and Gerald Haugen of Farmington, MN; sister-in-law, Katie (Tyrell) Madoll of Lake of the Woods and their children, nieces and nephew; Elaina, Ryker and Savannah.
