Nancy L. (Slater) Friedges, 64

Nancy L. (Slater) Friedges, age 64, of New Market, MN, passed away unexpectedly on February 23, 2025, at her home. Nancy was born in St. Paul, MN, on September 13, 1960, to Joseph and
Delores “Dori” (Moehrle) Slater. She grew up in the Savage/ Burnsville area and was a graduate of Burnsville High School. Nancy married Bruce Friedges on October 17, 1987, at St. Nicholas
Catholic Church in New Market and they have lived on their family farm for the last 38 years with their two boys, A.J and Corey. Nancy worked at Mystic Lake in Human Resources for many
years and then went on to work at Toro in Bloomington on the Customer Service team where she has worked for the last 26 years.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Susan “Suzy” Ordahl and brother-in-law, John Kaiser. She is survived by her loving husband, Bruce; sons, A.J. (Karn), and Corey Friedges;
grandchildren, Caroline, Avery, Emerson, Klayton, and Stetson; siblings, Judy, Jim, and Tim Slater, Maureen (Paul) Cahill, and Mary Kaiser; brother-in-law, Dennis Ordahl, and many nieces,
nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, relatives and friends.
Nancy loved her family and spent years at the baseball fields watching her boys play ball. Her five grandchildren were the center of her world, and her weekends were filled with their
activities. She loved to hang out with her sisters and brothers, from weekend bingo to sister trips to Sunday dinners. Nancy has deep friendships that date back to her days in elementary
school, high school and her days playing softball and working at G & L’s. Nancy was always the life of the party and could make everyone laugh and was always up for a good time.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, March 1, 2025, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, New Market, MN, with a visitation on Friday (2/28) from 4- 8 p.m. at the White Funeral
Home, 20134 Kenwood Tr., Lakeville (952-469-2723) and 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Private interment at church cemetery, at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred.
