New Prague skaters lose three games

The New Prague boys hockey team dropped three games last week.

The Trojans were shutout Tuesday, March 2 by Delano. The Tigers outshot the Trojans, 38-13, and scored four goals in the third period.

Senior Jack Wilmes scored his fifth goal of the season Thursday, March 4 in a 2-1 loss to Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato. Wilkes gave the Trojans the lead in the first period. The Dragons followed with two first period goals. The final two periods were scoreless.

Junior goalie Carter Puente stopped 32-of-34 goals for the Trojans. Both teams had six power play chances and neither team scored.

Hopkins scored six goals Saturday, March 6 in a 6-3 non-conference win.
