Ronald R. Vesely, 72

Ronald R. Vesely, age 72 of Webster, MN passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, December 12, 2021.

Ronnie was born on November 30, 1949 in New Prague, the son of Ray and Hattie Vesely. He married the love of his life, Marilyn Kubes, on May 5, 1973. They were blessed with five children and four grandchildren.

Ronnie served in the US Army Reserves and worked as a Tool and Die Maker for Thermo King for 37 years before retiring in 2006. He also farmed approximately 80 acres every year planting mostly beans, corn and wheat. 

Ronnie loved retirement life. He finally had the time for hobbies including fishing/ice fishing, gardening, and helping his kids with anything and everything they needed. He built a cabin from the ground up, including digging his own well. He was the ultimate do-it-yourself kind of guy. Ronnie’s friends spanned the generations, both young and old. A loving husband, father and grandfather, Ronnie showed us all, in his own way, how much he cared for us. 

He is survived by wife Marilyn, children Mike (Diane) Vesely, Mark (Cindy Walters) Vesely, Sandi (Bill) Picka, Ryan Vesely and Anne (Brandon) Bjorklund, as well as four grandchildren, Bailey, Taylor, Kayla and Harrison.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 17 at 10 am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Veseli. Please wear a mask while in church. Luncheon will follow at Lonsdale Legion.
