Trojans get top seed in 1AAAA softball

The New Prague Trojan softball team earned the No. 1 seed in the Section 1AAAA softball tournament, which begins Tuesday, May 22. 

The Trojans will host No. 8 seed Lakeville South on at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the double-elimination tournament. Win or lose, New Prague travels to Austin for a 4 p.m. game Thursday, May 24, against either No. 4 seed Lakeville North or No. 5 seed Owatonna. The tournament continues in Austin with games on Tuesday, May 29, and Thursday, May 31. 

Seeding for the tournament went  1 - New Prague, 2 - Farmington, 3 - Rochester John Marshall, 4 - Lakeville North, 5 - Owatonna, 6 - Rochester Century, 7 - Rochester Mayo, 8 - Lakeville South
