Trojans Win Senior Salute Baseball Tournament
On Sunday, Aug. 2, the New Prague senior boys were crowned the Champions of the Senior Salute Baseball Tournament hosted by the St. Paul Saints at CHS Field in St. Paul over the last two weeks. The Trojans finished with a 5-1 record and posted some pretty amazing stats for the tournament. This also brings some closure to a senior season cut short this spring by the COVID-19 pandemic. These seniors were able to compete with some of the best baseball players in the state to prove that they would have been a force to recon with in the MSHL (Minnesota State High School League) spring baseball season.
