Wright County Conference Track and Field title claimed by New Prague boys

The New Prague boys track and field team collected points in almost every event in winning the Wright County Conference East Division Championship Tuesday, May 25.
The Trojans scored 139 points in defeating runner-up Hutchinson (108) and third place Waconia (100.5). Fourth through eighth were Jordan (86), Delano (83.5), Orono (79), Mound Westonka (58), and Holy Family Catholic (44).
Two individual first place finishes were recorded by the Trojans. Ian Lillquist had his best triple jump of the season with a distance of 43-feet, 8-inches. Ethan Chromy won the high jump title clearing a height of 6-feet.
Placing second were the 4 x 200-meter relay team (1:35.13), Adam Brandt in the 1,600-meter run (4:35.88), the 4 x 100-meter relay (43.98), Carson Connor in the 400-meter dash (52.56), Jacob Malecha in the 3,200-meter run (10:21.77), and James Sackett in the pole vault (11-feet, 6-inches).
