Barbara L. Neitzel, age 85 of Waterville, died on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Mayo Health System, St. Mary’s Campus, Rochester. A celebration of her life will be at Harvest Time Bible Church, 2627 2nd Ave NW, Faribault, MN 55021, on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 2 p.m. with the Reverend Peter Kuriger officiating.  No visitation will be held prior to the service; a time of fellowship and lunch will be shared after the service. Arrangements are being completed by the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault. Barbara L., the daughter of Lewis and Ethel (Horrell) Akers, was born July 2, 1933 in Marshalltown, IA. She married Willis Neitzel on October 20, 1977 in Sioux Falls, SD. She was employed with and owned a restaurant in Marshalltown, IA and also worked in a factory there. Her hobbies included photography, sewing, cooking, baking, and later became an ordained minister. She led bible study in her home for over 20 years. She is survived by her husband, Willis of Waterville; nine children, David Robbins, Judith (and Dannie) Handsaker, Rick Gross, Peggy Muse, Scott Gross, Pam Labs, Shelley Krueger (Jerry), Todd Neitzel (Trish) and Terry Neitzel; son in law, David Miller; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; one brother, Wayne Akers; one sister, Jean (and Clarke) Shelton and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her parents in law, Willie and Dorothy Neitzel; a daughter, Lonnie Miller; a grandson, John Dahlke and a sister, Alice Farmer.
