Erma L. Dehn, 90

ERMA L. DEHN, age 90 of Port Hueneme, California, formerly of Elysian, died on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 in Oxnard, California. Born on October 7, 1927 in Hollister, California, she was the daughter of Pete and Charlotte (Alviso) Moreno.  Erma married Hubert Dehn on June 18, 1955 in Hayward, California and he preceded her in death in 2006.  They moved to Minnesota in 1970 where they owned the Beaver Dam Lodge.  In addition to raising her family, Erma also worked at Ed’s Bar and the Sunshine House in Elysian.  She loved to sing in the church choir, guitar, playing cards, crochet, embroidery, and writing letters to family and friends.  Erma was a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Elysian. She is survived by four children, Rosemarie (Jim) Caballero of Port Hueneme, CA, Jerry Machado of Agoura Hills, CA, Greg (Joan) Dehn of Waseca, and Bernadette Dehn of Bovey; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Elysian.  Visitation will be held one hour before services at the church.  Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Elysian.
