Glorene A (Fahrenkamp) Novak, age 88, of Prior Lake, MN, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, in New Prague, MN. 
A Christian Funeral will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022, at 11 am, with a time of gathering from 9-10:45 am, both at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Fish Lake, 20200 Fairlawn Avenue, Prior Lake, MN. Rev. Dr. Brent L Parrish will preside. Interment immediately after service at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery and lunch to follow. 

Clarence L. Salaba, age 85, of Lonsdale, died suddenly at Hennepin County Medical Center as the result of an accident on the family Century Farm on Friday, October 28, 2022.  Clarence was born on March 31, 1937 in Wheatland Township to Frank E. and Rose (Uhlir) Salaba.  He grew up in the Lonsdale/Veseli area and graduated from New Prague High School.  He met the love of his life, Delores M.

Marilyn Kathryn Green (nee Frolik), age 85, of Elko, MN died peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at her home.  Marilyn was born on April 19, 1937 in New Prague to Benjamin R. and Elsie A. (Flicek) Frolik.  She was a 1955 graduate of South High School in Minneapolis and was formerly married to Robert Green. She resided in Minneapolis and Elko New Market most of her adult life and was a beloved long-term executive administrator of the University of Minnesota Laboratory Medicine and Pathology Department. 

Kenneth Edward Schleis, age 83, of Montgomery, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 11, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 12 at 11:00 AM, with Father Tom Niehaus, Father George Grafsky and Father Michael Miller officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior, all at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.  Burial will be held at a later date in Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery.

Arnold J. Smisek, age 93, of New Prague, died peacefully with his family at his side at his home on Friday, October 7, 2022.  Arnold was born on September 25, 1929 in Forest Township, Rice County, MN to Edward J. and Julia (Trnka) Smisek.  He graduated from New Prague High School, attended Dunwoody Institute, and then entered the US Navy, where he served as an electrician aboard the USS Currier in the Korean War.  He married Mary M. Maus, the woman who would become his treasured best friend for the rest of his life on June 9, 1956 at Sts.

Eileen Rita Krueger, age 85, of Waconia passed away, peacefully Wednesday, September, 28th 2022, at her home with her family by her side.
Mass of Christian Burial to be held Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Boniface Catholic Church (4025 Main Street) in St. Bonifacius with Father Peter Hughes as Celebrant of the Mass.   Visitation held Monday, October 3 from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. and one hour prior to the Mass on Tuesday, ALL AT THE CHURCH.  Interment in the church cemetery.

Geraldyne (Gerri) David (Sheehy), age 85 passed away on August 21, 2022 at Central Health Care Center in Le Center, MN.
Gerri grew up with her parents and siblings on a farm near Waterville where she learned to bake, sew, garden and grow to have a strong faith in God. She graduated from Waterville High School in 1956.
Gerri married Jacob John David on June 14, 1961 at the Church of St. Canice in Kilkenny, MN. On February 22, 1963 they welcomed son Dennis John David to their family.

Leo John Cemensky, 80, of Fifty Lakes, died at his home on August 7, 2022. A private family service is being held.
He was born on March 27, 1942, in Lexington Township, MN to Anton and Emily (Trczinsky) Cemensky. Leo married Vikki Dunham on December 10, 2001, in Fargo, ND. He was a retired member of the Operating Engineers Local 49 Union.
Leo is survived by his wife Vikki; two sons, Lee Cemensky of Las Vegas, NV, and Jeff (RaNae) Cemensky of Fifty Lakes; one daughter, Desiree Dunham of Elida, Ohio; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Joseph James Cesafsky, 89, of Montgomery, died on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Traditions of Montgomery. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 22, from 9 to 11, with Mass of Christian Burial to follow, all held at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery with Father Tom Niehaus officiating. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.

Brian Delano Lande, 62, of Montgomery passed away on August 9, 2022, at the Mayo Clinic Health System Hospital in New Prague. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 14 from 1-3 pm at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. A prayer service will follow at 3 pm also at the funeral home.
 
Brian was born February 24, 1960, to Charles and Gloria (Thorsen) Lande. He attended Montgomery High School and worked at Seneca in Montgomery as a Boiler Operator.

Marvin George David, 79 of Montgomery died on August 6, 2022. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 16 from 4 pm-8 pm at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 17 at 11 am with visitation one hour prior, all held at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery with Father Tom Niehaus, officiating. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery.

Elmer Harry Kukacka, age 85 of Montgomery passed away at his home on August 4, 2022. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 9 from 4 pm-8 pm at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 10 at 11am with visitation one hour prior at St. John Lutheran Church in Montgomery. Interment will be held in the Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery.

Maxine Owen Morgan passed away peacefully on July 22, 2022, at the age of 90. She was born in Springfield, MN on July 6, 1932, to Lee and Irma (Ingram) Owen.
Maxine grew up along the Cottonwood River in Springfield, MN with many fond memories of family life. She graduated from Springfield High School in 1950 where she participated in band and choir. Maxine attended the College of St. Catherine’s in St. Paul, MN, graduating with a major in Occupational Therapy in 1955.

Evelyn E. Novotny, age 90, of Inver Grove Heights, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on July 29, 2022. 
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 4, at 11 a.m. at the Church of St. Patrick, 3535 72nd St., Inver Grove Heights. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the Mass at church. Interment will be held at St. Patrick's Church Cemetery. 
Evelyn was a longtime cook for IDS 199. She loved to dance, garden and travel. 

Sonia H. Funk, age 94, of New Prague, formerly of Minnetonka, died peacefully with her family at her side, on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Traditions of Montgomery. Sonia was born on February 4, 1928 in Minneapolis to William E. and Signe B. (Peterson) Hovey. She was raised in the Camden area of Minneapolis, graduating from Patrick Henry High School. She married Raymond A. Funk on September 6, 1947 in Minneapolis and in her first years of marriage, she worked for the phone company.

Laurie Lynn Rumpza (Tuma), age 60, of Rosemount, MN, passed away on July 17, 2022.
