Mary Speiker, age 85 of Shakopee, entered eternal life on Friday, January 28, 2022.
A visitation will be held Thursday, February 3, 2022 from 4-7 PM and Friday, February 4, 2022 from 9:30-10:30 AM at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, 833 S. Marschall Rd., Shakopee. Mass of Christian Burial following 11 AM at the Church of St. Mary (The Parish of Saints Joachim and Anne), 535 Lewis St. S., Shakopee. Per the family’s request, masks are required.
Mary will be laid to rest at Shakopee Catholic Cemetery with Father Michael Becker presiding.

Tabatha (Tab) Vohnoutka passed away on January 11, 2022, at the age of 36 in Biwabik, MN. She was born in Burnsville, MN, on December 27, 1985 to William (Bill) Crottier of Babbitt, MN and Therese Vohnoutka of Gainesboro, TN. She was a loving mother to her children Zoey and Arturo Cameron and Akron Hanson and was very proud of them.
Betty Jane Rogers, age 72, of New Prague, passed away suddenly, surrounded by her family, on January 18, 2022. Betty was born on January 24, 1949 in Redwood Falls to Benjamin & Beatrice (Stoll) Steinhouse. She grew up in Redwood Falls and attended Redwood Falls Public Schools. She married Richard “Rick” Rogers on December 12, 1970 in Bloomington. Jon Michael Eaves, age 82, of New Prague, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Mayo Clinic Health System Hospital New Prague. Jon was born in North Platte, Nebraska on June 7, 1939 to Beuford and Genevieve (Goodmanson) Eaves. He was the middle child to siblings, Gerhard Andrew, Janet Hildred, Beuford Allyn, and Gordon Eugene. He grew up in a home filled with love, music, and many beloved pets and where hard work and honesty were the cornerstones. From an early age he developed a deep faith in our Lord that guided him all through life.

Lillian Ann Reiman Kochlin, 75, of Belle Plaine, formerly of Casa Grande, passed away on December 29 surrounded by her family. A Funeral service will be held at Immanuel Lutheran on Fish Lake on January 11, 2022 starting at 11 am. A visitation will take place prior to the service from 9-11 am at Immanuel Lutheran on Fish Lake.
Maureen Ann Busse, age 66 of Belle Plaine, passed away in her home on January 3, 2022 with her husband and children by her side.
Maureen was born in New Prague on September 6, 1955 to Richard and Gertrude (Neisen) Meger. She grew up on the Meger farm near Union Hill with a full house of 10 kids, 1 bathroom, and countless memories. She graduated from New Prague High School. On June 17, 1978 she married John Busse at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lexington. They made their home in Belle Plaine where they raised two children.
Roger W. Simon, age 74, died peacefully, surrounded by his family on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Rochester, MN. Roger was born on January 11, 1947, in New Prague to Walter R. and Julia (Svoboda) Simon. He was raised in the Veseli area and attended Most Holy Trinity Catholic School, graduated from New Prague High School, enlisted in the National Guard and later graduated from Mankato State College. He married Carol J. Trnka on July 26, 1969, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lonsdale, MN. They were happily married for over 52 years.
Michael Albert Hogan sadly passed away at home in Newbury, England on 22nd November 2021 aged 88 years.
A wonderful and loving man he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Funeral service to be held at West Berkshire Crematorium on Friday 14th January 2022 at 12noon.
